On July 15, 2015, Energy Management Committee of the Faculty of Medical Technology Mahidol University organized the 4th “Bottles for Eggs Exchange” activity at the Thai pavilion, ground floor of the Science and Medical Technology Building. The aim of this program was to encourage plastic recycling at the Faculty of Medical Technology. This year, besides exchanging more than 500 eggs for more than 7,000 bottles, the bottles could also be traded for a cup of instant noodle. Staffs, students and other participants showed great interest in the event, which raised the awareness of waste separation, the first easy step toward energy saving and environmental conservation that anyone could do. This activity ended by letting the participants planted trees beside the Science and Medical Technology Building and take some trees home together with hand-made flowerpots from used bottles as a souvenir.
